I was recently on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu and really recommend driving around the island if you have a chance. I headed east from Honolulu on Highway 1 which changes names as it goes around the island. At one point, on Highway 72 which it is named on the eastern-most point of Oahu, I cam across Makapuu Point.
